These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of any arbitration provisions herein.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall first be subject to informal resolution. You agree to contact us at legal@monetralending.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally before initiating any formal proceeding.

10.3 Jurisdiction and Venue

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to the laying of venue in such courts.

11. California-Specific Provisions

As a California finance lender, we operate under the California Financing Law (CFL) and are licensed by the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI). Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under California consumer protection statutes, including the Consumers Legal Remedies Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1750 et seq.), the Unfair Competition Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17200 et seq.), or the California Consumer Privacy Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.).

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
